December 2007 Coach Session

• 14 - 16 players

• Equipment: 2 goals, bibs, balls, cones & flags

• Area 44x36 (two 18 yard boxes)

• Place cones across the top of the 18 yard box to make tow 18 yard boxes

• Play 5 v 2 in each 18 yard box

• Keeper starts the game by playing the ball to either the 4 players in his/her area or to the 2 players in the other area

• The 4 players keep possession and look for either shooting opportunities or to pass to the 2 players in the next area.

Progression: allow players to leave their area and join the 2 players in the other area based upon restrictions like players who passed the ball may join or third man runs etc.
